Hibiscus Lemonade

Hibiscus Lemonade is a refreshing non-alcoholic punch that is suitable for almost any occasion.

Ingredients:
¼ cup dried hibiscus flowers
1 cup sugar (more or less, to taste)
pinch of salt
1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
3 cups sparkling water (plain or flavored like lime)
2 heaping cups of ice cubes
strawberries, mint, and flowers for garnish (optional)

Directions: 
Mix together hibiscus, sugar, and salt. Add to 2 cups boiling water. Steep for 15 minutes. Strain. Add lemon juice to the hibiscus tea. Then add water and ice. Garnish as desired.

Notes: Can substitute still water for the sparkling water. Can substitute rose water in place of about ¼ cup sparkling water.

Makes about 2 quarts
